A vintage medium size cow bell (please not the Clanger is missing ) 14 cms high and 10 cms wide.
The tradition of the cow bells goes back to the 15th century when it was believed that the bells would chase away evil and sickness and even attract goodness. They put the bells on cows so that gas the cows moved around they would purify the area.
